She was just 41 when she left her mortal self about 45 years ago.. and in rather tragic circumstances… But she stays in the hearts of all through the rich legacy she left behind in the form of innumerable classics.. Blessed with a very unique voice texture, the kind of feel that Geeta Dutt could bring to her singing was incomparable for her times..
