Bharat – Official Trailer

The official trailer of the next big release, Salman Khan starrer Bharat is out, and this could be a Masala film done right! Other than the initial phase of Bharat and his 60s avatar, the rest of the getups and personas seem to be on point, and Salman Khan holds on to the challenge. Katrina Kaif though steals the show with a great first impression as Madam Sir, her introduction scene of the trailer is particularly good. Ali Abbas Zafar may have got it right for the genre he wants to hit.

Bharat releases on June 5th as the big Eid release.

Kalank : Official Trailer

Kalank Official Trailer is finally here. Better than the songs released in between, but doesn’t wow you. Hope to see more of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the film as they have continued to impress the most in every promotional material, including the trailer.

Hope that there is a voice of Abhishek Verman in the film, and its not an out and out Karan Johar show. Still disappointed with them not giving the original story credits though.

Kalank releases on April 17th

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – Official Trailer

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – the name itself has such a zing to it! And then its a Quentin Tarantino film! And then it stars Leonardo Di Caprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie amongst others! And then it pays its tribute to the golden age of Hollywood!

Can it get bigger than this? Yes! The teaser trailer indicates that the sum is going to be bigger than the parts! July 2019 is going to be massive!

Basu Paribaar – Official Trailer

Soumitro Chattopadhyay – Aparna Sen – Lily Chakraborty – Saswata Chattopadhyay – Rituparna Sengupta – Kausik Sen – Sudipta Chakraborty – Jisshu Sengupta – Sreenanda Shankar – Paran Bandopadhyay – Subhashish Mukherjee – Tapan Chakraborty – & Others…

That is Basu ParibaarSuman Ghosh‘s new film releasing on April 5th. The trailer hints towards a sentimental high pitch drama, a bit too much to create an immediate connect. But may be the stellar cast will get things right in entirety too. We will have to see.

Kia and Cosmos – Official Trailer

Kia and Cosmos trailer has something beautiful going in it, that really gets one intrigued and watch more. Directed by Sudipto Roy, the film stars Ritwika Pal, Swastika Mukherjee and Joy Sengupta in key roles, and traces the journey of a 15 year old special girl in search of her cat. The music by Neel Adhikary, camera work by Aditya Varma and editing cuts by Anirban Maity also significantly impress within the crisp trailer.

Kia and Cosmos releases on March 29, and we hope to see a good film.

Kalank – Official Teaser

Kalank – the new film by Abhishek Varman, launched its teaser today, and boy it promises a lavish and rich canvas! The film has been scoring a lot of points by its intriguing first looks for a few days now, and the teaser is another solid step towards it.

The scale looks huge and the inspiration from Bhansali kind of canvas is apparent. But more importantly, the characters are looking interesting and the women especially steal the show, Sonakshi Sinha and Alia Bhatt to be more precise. So miss Sridevi today, as she was supposed to be in this film before and then Madhuri Dixit stepped in after her. Sridevi would have added so many layers to her character.

Delhi Crime – Official Trailer

The new Netflix Original series Delhi Crime trailer is out, and seems like a spine-chilling disturbing replay of the heinous Nirbhaya gang-rape case that rocked the nation in 2012. With terrific actors like Shefali Shah, Adil Hussain, Rasika Dugal or Yashaswini Dayama at the center, this one is going to be an intriguing (though not easy) watch for sure.

The show will be directed by Richie Mehta – the maker of films like Siddharth or Amal before

Delhi Crime drops on Netflix on March 22nd.

Tarikh – Official Trailer

Churni Ganguly‘s upcoming film Tarikh further deepens the intrigue around the film through its trailer. The montage of images strung together tell a story without giving away much about the film. The voice of Ritwick Chakraborty becomes the narrator for a film on the social media backdrop, while weaving in the mystery around Shaswata Chattopadhyay, Raima Sen, Kaushik Ganguly and himself.

Tarikh releases on April 12th, and seems like a sumptuous Nabobarsho delicacy.

Tarikh – Official Teaser

Churni Ganguly‘s new film Tarikh will get an theatrical release on April 12th. The teaser is smartly cut as a series of sharp images and raises intrigue, especially since the film also boasts of a very promising cast of Shaswata Chattopadhyay, Ritwick Chakraborty, Raima Sen and Churni Ganguly. Churni’s debut film Nirbashito stayed with me for very long, and hoping for Tarikh to follow the same.

The film was also appreciated when it was screened during Kolkata International Film Festival 2018. We await more information about the film.
